Who is responsible for your information

Umi’s World is operated by TANK AND BEAR INC. Figurate INC, our sister company, manages the player information described in this policy and provides the AI services that power character interactions.

Figurate INC is responsible for how this information is collected, used, stored, and shared. It shares relevant information with TANK AND BEAR INC to operate the game, support players, and handle privacy requests. TANK AND BEAR INC is responsible for its use of the information it receives.

Information we process

Player and game information. We process information needed to run your game and save your progress, including equipped forms, inventory, character roster, and scene information. Relevant game information is provided to Figurate INC so characters can respond in context.

Character conversations and memory. Figurate INC processes your messages and generates character replies. Relevant information from conversations and game progress may be saved as character memory so characters can remember previous interactions across sessions. Each character’s memories are stored separately and are not made available to other characters.

Voice conversations. When you choose to speak with an AI character, audio is processed to provide the conversation. We do not store voice recordings. Our voice provider is configured not to retain audio recordings and to delete conversation text within 30 days after the conversation ends. Figurate INC separately stores conversation text as transcripts and character memory for the periods explained below.

Images from the game. To answer questions about what you are looking at, the game may send an image rendered from inside the game world for analysis through OpenRouter and its model providers. This feature does not use headset passthrough cameras to capture images of your physical surroundings, only the digital artwork placed in your physical surroundings. Images are processed without being retained by us or the image-analysis providers. A short text description may be saved as character memory.

Technical information. We process information needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service, including save, session, and character identifiers; request sources; event types and sequence; timestamps; and error details.

Support and privacy requests. If you contact us, we process your email address, message, and information needed to answer your request.

We do not ask for your name, email address, or age to play. Your game save is identified by a generated save ID rather than a personal account. Information you choose to share in a conversation may nevertheless identify you or someone else. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information.

Run the game and save your progress.
Generate character replies, provide voice interactions, and analyze game-world images.
